Account or Data Deletion

Kingsreach has not launched publicly. This page describes the intended account deletion requirement and distinguishes it from what has been verified in the current pre-release source.

Intended account deletion process

The intended in-game flow is:

  1. Open Settings in Kingsreach.
  2. Select Delete Account.
  3. Complete the first confirmation.
  4. Complete the second confirmation by entering the player's name and Kingsreach ID.
  5. Submit the permanent account deletion request.

This is intended to delete the entire Kingsreach account and its associated game data across all realms, not just an individual character or one realm. Contacting support is not required for the normal in-game deletion process. The active realm is used in the current request flow; it does not define the intended scope of account deletion.

At public release, this flow must provide complete account deletion. Its current presence in the client does not mean that complete deletion is operational or verified.

Current implementation status

Current source contains the in-game UI with two confirmations and an authenticated server endpoint. The endpoint is controlled by server feature flags and may be unavailable. Complete account deletion is not operationally verified: the deletion worker currently blocks finalization until chat cleanup and report classification are resolved. This page does not claim that a submitted request currently completes deletion of the account or all associated data.

External deletion requests

The normal intended deletion route is in the game and does not require contacting support. A separate external deletion request channel is TBD. A working, monitored public web request route or contact method must be established before public launch as a fallback. Until then, this page does not provide an operational external deletion request channel or represent completed Google Play or Apple account-deletion compliance.

Data-only requests and exceptions

A separate feature to delete selected data while keeping a Kingsreach account is not verified and is not promised here. Any data retained to meet a legal obligation, including the affected categories, purpose and retention period, is TBD and must be confirmed and explained before launch. This process does not delete independent records controlled by Google or Apple.

The final deletion treatment for chat messages, moderation evidence, operational logs and backups is unresolved. Ordinary chat messages have a release requirement to be deleted automatically no later than 180 days after creation, but that deletion is not verified as operational. Moderation evidence may be retained only when it supports an actual moderation action; otherwise it must be deleted. The evidence retention period and operational process remain TBD.
